A blind rivet stud consists of a sleeve (blind rivet nut without internal thread) and a stud that are joined to one another. Corrosion protection can be effectively achieved by connecting the body and screw mechanically by crimping. This method makes it possible to separately coat the two individual components galvanically before they are connected – They can even be corrosion protected using two different methods if required. Only after surface coating are the body and screw firmly connected into a blind rivet stud.
