Our story begins in 1975, when Mr. Suresh Uttarkar decided to transform his dreams in to action. Being an engineering enthusiast he dared to set-up a company with mere 100 rupees (1.5 USD) in his pocket. The company turned in to a Job working unit catering the machining needs of market. With experience Mr. Uttarkar ventured Kwality Products in the field of import substitution. Due to his ingenious nature the company was highly appreciated and rewarded by various organizations like Defense Research Development Organization (DRDO)
Year 2004 was marked with the arrival of Mr. Anand Uttarkar son of Late Mr. Suresh Uttarkar. Mr. Anand has a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas, USA. He worked as an Industrial engineer for a reputed organization in USA. The culture he developed at Kwality Products was, don’t let the fear of losing trump the excitement of victory. With this thought a lot of initiatives were taken to add challenging projects. Development projects from the field of Aerospace, Automotive and Textile started entering the gamut of Kwality Products. The culture of organization was directed in the direction of quality, innovation and satisfaction.
The professionalism in technical and administrative department was truly brought in by Ms. Priya Bagul Uttarkar in year 2006. Priya has a degree in mechanical engineering, post graduation in Tool and Die Design from Indo-German tool room. Also she possesses a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance. Her attitude, that devil is in details helped setup systems in the organization. It has helped immensely in controlling and standardizing the processes. Today the company strictly follows ISO 9001:2015 under the leadership and guidance of Ms. Priya.
Pliant Bellows is the brand name of bellows manufactured by Kwality Products. Kwality Products has been in business since 1975. The company has evolved to be one of the best manufacturing SME in India. It was started as a job working unit to cater the automotive industry for its need in maintenance activity. Over a period of time it got involved in development of import substitute products in India. With its sincerity, commitment and professionalism it was awarded the memento and appreciation from the Indian defense research organization. As time moved on it got involved in the manufacturing of aerospace components and perhaps is the only small scale company approved by Rolls Royce, USA for its helicopter engine components in India. In year 2011 the company branched to form a joint venture company with a Belgian partner to manufacture metal seals in India.
